They needed a design language that would set Swann products apart from cheaper, imported systems flooding the home security market.

We worked closely with Swann to strategize and define what the new system would look like, and what it needed to provide consumers to be a success.

We developed a connected security ecosystem that expands to a range of security sensors, and integrates with other brand connected products.

Our design strategy underpinned the new product concept development program, the detailed design, design for manufacture and the development of a digital app and user interface structure.

We referenced trends and materials in homeware as inspiration for the aesthetic rather than technology and created a design language that reflected a relaxing and calm ‘homeware’ feel.

We applied this aesthetic across the security product ecosystem, featuring a timber lid and glassy white casing for the base and inner tray and white for the cameras and fob.
