Designed and engineered to be safe, strong and easy to use, the SecuraDoor entry protection device protects thousands of American households from intruders. Collaborating over eight months with the founder of Monarch Home Innovations, we created a superior security product to position SecuraDoor above a multitude of poorly designed door jammers on the market. To keep the operation of the device simple, we developed mechanisms and details to make it easy for anyone to use.

Door jammers are generally flimsy with basic small feet, and weak construction. Some are rugged heavyweights that can break a doorknob and deform your door. We worked closely with Monarch to design and develop SecuraDoor as a superior alternative that provides over 1500 lbs of applied pressure to a door.
We designed and engineered the device to be very simple, lightweight, strong, easy to use, portable and affordable.
Considering all door types and sizes, we configured SecuraDoor to fit onto any doorknob and to adjust to varying doorknob heights.
The handle ‘yolk’ is designed to fit comfortably in a hand, and is easy for elderly and disabled people to use. The yolk is molded in glass-reinforced plastic so it doesn’t damage a door knob or door. The engineered geometry of the handle yolk makes it easy to use with one hand and lightweight yet strong enough to resist impact and loads. The handle pivot point creates compression that holds a door securely shut. The brace has an adjustment collar and a pin that ensures a secure fit to a door.
The footplate provides maximum surface contact to any floor surface. We engineered the foot plate to pivot within a precise 7.5 degree range in one direction ensuring SecuraDoor can be easily set to the correct length, distance and height with no need for constant readjustment. The design makes sure the device won’t damage or scratch floor or door surfaces.
At around 4lbs the device has to stay in place when a door is kicked or a sudden impact is applied to a door. Standard door jammers are flimsy and fall over if a door is kicked, others are over-engineered and damage door knobs and doors. We constructed ‘worst case scenario’ test rigs to simulate high compression loads to ensure SecuraDoor would survive attempted break-ins.
We engineered SecuraDoor so its design adheres to the full specifications of the International Building Code and it only needs to be adjusted once for any door.
